PAC CONTRIBUTIONS COUNT
REMINDER:
MARVAC PAC contribution letters were mailed two weeks ago asking for your help in supporting those legislators who will be taking up industry legislation this fall. There are three very important issues that we will be actively pursuing.
- Sales tax on the difference.
- Document preparation fees.
- Exemption from current electric resale regulations for campgrounds.
Three very good reasons to take out your checkbook and make a contribution to MMH&RVCA PAC!

TOURISM INDUSTRY STRATEGIC MEETINGS
*** Establishing Objectives and Strategies for Michigan’s Tourism Industry – Your Chance to Participate – Meetings throughout Michigan in June, July and August ***
As you know, a new five-year strategic plan is currently being generated for Michigan’s tourism industry. As a part of that process, a series of industry stakeholder meetings will be held throughout the state this summer, to solicit input into the planning process. These meetings will be very interactive and will include discussion of the industry’s vision for its future development, as well as the goals, objectives and strategies needed to achieve that vision over the coming five years.
Please follow this link to register for the industry meeting most convenient for you. All meetings will start at 1pm and conclude at 5:30pm, and refreshments will be served. Further details including directions to the meeting and a set of materials it is recommended you peruse prior to the meeting will be sent out to you once you complete the registration process. HARVEST GOLF OUTING – CONTRIBUTION REPORT
We’d like to thank those of you who have continually supported the HARVEST Foundation. A special thank you to those who participated in the 2012 golf outing event. Your generosity has generated a total of $6,143.90 for the HARVEST fund.
