MARVAC Member Mary Pouliot Receives RVIA’s National Education Service Award
Contratulations to MARVAC board member Mary Pouliot of Thetford/Norcold who was awarded RVIA’s National Education Service Award.
RVIA’s National Education Service Award recognizes those individuals who are instrumental in the development of educational programs in the RV industry.
Comments by Derald Bontrager: Mary has been heavily involved in RV Service technician education activities since she joined RVIA’s Industry Education Committee in 2009.
She became a member of the RVST Council in April 2011 and the RVDA/RVIA Certification Governing Board in July 2011. Last year, she was elected to co-chair of the Certification Governing Board.
When industry education stakeholders met in January of 2011 for the Certification Development Conference, Mary played a crucial role in the effort to review and modify the certification tests to support the new levels on the Certification Career Ladder that were developed. She was also instrumental in the development and implementation of the Technician in Training program that was launched so successfully last year.
There is no question that Mary is a tremendous champion for industry education issues who is constantly advocating for the development and betterment of RVIA’s RV service technician training programs.
