Whether full-timers, weekend wanderers, or something in- between, we all enjoy the small luxuries and comforts provided by the traditional homes we’ve left behind. And just because we’re on four wheels doesn’t mean we need to abandon amenities we’re accustomed to having around.
With these five new additions to your coach, you’ll find the full-time lifestyle that much more tangible – if you haven’t converted already!
1.Shower Head: Unfortunately, many RV showers leave much to be desired – either they have little to no water pressure, or they
use too much water, causing you to either run out of hot water or constantly refill your grey tank. But thanks to Oxygencis, that slow trickle can be a thing of the past! These RV shower heads are water efficient and clog-free, guaranteed. Using the power of oxygen, this shower head lends users a spa-quality experience, without
the water waste.
2.Screened-in Awning: Many RVers agree that one of the best parts of the lifestyle is getting to experience the great outdoors; however, summers in Michigan can often be soured by an infestation of hungry mosquitos and other airborne pests. A wise investment may be a screened-in awning. Although some can be pricey, a bug- free sanctuary may be worth the investment. Plus, they help block your rig from getting too much direct sunlight, at least on that side.
3.Laundry Pod: This award-winning product allows for people
to keep their clothes clean without effort, electricity, and minimal water usage. The Laundry Pod works similar to a salad spinner – after you’ve added the necessary amount of water and detergent you simple spin the handle for about two minutes and viola, your clothes are clean! According to storebound.com, “Conventional washers use a lot of power and up to 50 gallons of water with each load. The Laundry POD uses less than five gallons of water.” This makes it perfect for use on the road when water supply is limited.
4.Wi-Fi: RVers love to escape into nature – smart phones in hand.
If you find yourself parked in a campground that doesn’t offer free Wi-Fi, this may be the solution to your woes. Depending on how frequently you need access to the web – if you work from your RV, are a social media fiend, or if you just need access every now and then to check the local forecast – a wireless Internet hotspot is your ticket. Most services offer a daily or monthly prepaid data plan
that can fit any web-user’s lifestyle.
5.Hide-a-Key: Ever get locked out of your house and have a moment of panic before you remember the hidden key under
the doormat? Well, the Hitch Safe is the same premise. Although chances are unlikely that you’ll lock yourself out of the RV, this may be something to consider for people who leave their rigs in the same lot for a season. If you’re coming and going or a friend wants to use the RV for the weekend, the Hitch Safe allows you to safely stash a spare key on the outside of your rig. Hitchsafe.com states that “To access your keys you simply release the rubber dust cover (made to look like any normal Hitch Cover), enter in your personal four-number dial combination, which then releases the drawer
and allows access to your keys, cards or more....”
We all have our own, unique traveling must-haves. All of the aforementioned products are just examples of helpful tools to get the most out of your RVing experience, and the products and suppliers are not endorsed by MARVAC.
