The Source for all things Camping in Michigan
Michigan’s campgrounds and roadways have seemed busier than ever these past few years. The state is consistently taking the top spot among destinations in travel publications, sending more visitors our way – as well as inspiring more Michigan residents to visit these incredible places close to home.
Despite the heavier crowds and fuller campgrounds, the
benefits of RVing and camping remain undeniable – because
we spend a lot more time in and around nature. In many ways nature is a gentle guide and restores our bodies to their natural rhythms. It’s well known that our bodies benefit physically from the exercise, sunlight, and activities. It’s understood that our mental well-being benefits from these as well. RVing enables us to reliably, comfortably, and directly impact our lives in wonderful ways. We explore. We escape. We truly live.
MARVAC is here to help RVers – from the brand new to the well experienced, from down the road to across the country – navigate RVing and camping in the Great Lakes State. We are happy to share resources both digitally and in print that will help you make the best of your camping experience. We share multiple website articles every month, ranging from campsite recipes and regional driving tours to more technical content related to RV ownership and maintenance. Our archive
is now quite extensive. Our interactive regional maps help you select a private campground or resort for your next adventure. This past year, we launched videos featuring our member campgrounds so that you can get a visual look at some of these places...and coming soon, a video library of RV how-to’s featuring experts on towing, RV maintenance, and more. Of course, MARVAC publishes an annual directory and travel guide, which provides the regional maps in a fold-out, portable format, along with a list of all members and their amenities and entertaining and educational reading material. We do all of this to ensure you have a dependable resource for all of your RVing and camping needs.
If you are looking for a new RV, would like to kick the tires on the latest products off the assembly line, or are in need of new campground destinations, visit one of our RV and Camping shows. We host two shows in Detroit, one in October and one in February, then several during the month of March at different locations around the state.
