Remembering Anne Nickola
Former member Anne Nickola (Diane Mobile Homes & Power Pack Pedestals) died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at her home. Anne served on the board of directors for 3 terms, and on the Association utility committee for over a decade. She was a trail blazer as a woman business owner, leader, and industry member. MMH & RVCA Executive Director Tim DeWitt remembers Anne as a, “Very intelligent and strong individual who cared about the industry and took great pride in her community and business. I’m thankful to have known Anne and for her contributions of time and talent to the Association, I will miss her.”

RV & Campsite features consumer articles on the RV and camping lifestyle and places to travel in Michigan. The member directory section of the publication is divided into five regions to aid readers in finding members in areas of interest. Of course, as a MARVAC member, your business is listed in the directory section with a paragraph and small map to your location. In addition, a checklist of amenities is featured separately in the publication. This service is provided to all MARVAC members for FREE!

100,000 printed copies of the publication will be distributed throughout the year at MDOT Welcome Centers, MARVAC RV Shows and other events. Insurance Coverage for MARVAC Members
Association members are eligible to participate in the Association Accidental Death & Dismemberment Policy program through Reliance Standard Life Insurance Company. This policy is part of your annual membership fees.
Members are allowed one $10,000 policy, per company membership. This is good for one single individual of company designation. This coverage is automatic for MARVAC members who are in good standing.
If you have not completed a Designation of Beneficiaries form, or need to submit an updated one, click here to access it. Please complete the form and submit it to the Association office.

HARVEST Applications for 2015-2016 are Due March 27!
Time is running out to apply for a HARVEST scholarship! If you know college students who could benefit from receiving a HARVEST scholarship, have them visit the association’s website, and download the application.
The HARVEST Education Foundation is a non-profit education foundation created by the Michigan Manufactured Housing, Recreation Vehicle and Campground Association in 1991. In 2013, the Self Storage Association of Michigan was added to the HARVEST family.
HARVEST establishes educational programs and opportunities for students who wish to make a career in the RV and campground, manufactured housing or self-storage industry. In some cases, HARVEST will award scholarships to students even though their career goals may not lead them back to these industries. In cases like these, awards will be made to outstanding scholars or students with compelling needs.
