Open May - Sept.30 (if weather allows thru Oct. 31). We are located in the Manistee National Forest on 52 acres. We are on a spring fed, no-wake lake, great for kayaking, canoeing & paddle boarding. We have a swimming beach, playground, fresh water, dump station, 40 electric and 10 non-electric sites. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Open from early May to late October, the campground sits at the Jackpine ORV Haywire (41) trailhead along M94, just 25 miles southeast of Munising, 19 miles north of US2 in Manistique, and 15 miles south of M28 in Shingleton.
Visitors are within 30 minutes of Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Indian Lake, Kitch-iti-kipi, ORV, and hiking trails, as well as numerous inland lakes, rivers, and waterfalls.
Onsite amenities include a Bar/Grill, cabin rentals, camp store, and spacious gravel sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a shower house. Pet-friendly and ORV-friendly, offering full hookups (30/50 amp), rustic sites, laundry facilities, pull-thru sites, a dump station, and Wi-Fi throughout.

Magnus Park Campground provides 76-sites for tents, tow-able recreational vehicles, and motor homes. The campground rests at the end of West Lake Street along the shores of Little Traverse Bay. Campers staying at Magnus Park have easy access to Bayfront Park, Little Traverse Wheelway, Northern Michigan Regional Hospital, and Downtown Petoskey.
Magnus Park provides camping facilities as well as day-use amenities along the shores of Lake Michigan’s Little Traverse Bay. The park has 1,000 feet of shoreline and is equipped with access roads, utilities, a wooded area, and scenic views of Little Traverse Bay. A small overlook area, known as “Wayside Park,” on the upper-elevation bluff adjacent to the bike path also provides excellent views of the bay. Free wireless internet is available throughout the campground.
